A 5 round swiss tournament played between 16th June and 11th August.
This year there was no entry fee and no prizes.
Time control was game in 50 minutes with 10 second increments.
Standings after round 5
In the final round, Eric only needed to secure a draw against Martin to be the overall winner which he duly did. John won against Chris to finish equal second with martin on 3.5 points. Joe also won and Colin and Steve settled for a draw in a rook and pawns end game. Full results can be seen here .

Rules
- Each round should be played on the night stated at 7:30pm but may be rearranged or played on online if both players agree.
- Pairings will be available on the Sunday before each round
- Each competitor is allowed up to 2 half-point byes which must be requested prior to pairings being made.
