As league chess is not going to resume until October, we held a 4 round slow play swiss tournament between 25th August and 22nd September.
The time control was game in 80 minutes with 20 second increments.
Standings after round 4
Coming into the fourth and final round, the two leaders John and Eric faced each other. In a hard fought game, John played exceptionally well to win and is the overall tournament winner. In another long close game Julie was lucky to win against Steve and finish second overall. Colin, Reece and Tom also won their games. Full results can be seen here .
