Our aim is to enjoy and promote the playing of Chess in the Stourbridge area.  We normally meet every  Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Stourbridge Institute and Social Club. We have teams in the Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester and Birmingham Leagues and have a membership of all ages.

Players of any standard are welcome and anyone interested should come along to the Stourbridge Institute on Wednesday night at 7:45pm. We are looking for new members and welcome players of all abilities for competitive and casual play. Click here to find out more

Recommended parking is Stourbridge Institute carpark if the barrier is raised or on Market St or Lower High St. How to find us

Due to the corona virus, Stourbridge Institute is temporarily closed. However, we now have an online club at chess.com.
